As of the 1st March 2007 the following revised policies are in place affecting all ticketing managed by the Queensland Cricketers’ Club.
Booking Process:
The seating area managed by the QCC for Members and their guests is pre-allocated as “reserved seating” for all international cricket, AFL and specialty fixtures played at the Gabba. Requests for reserved seat tickets on these game days must be made in writing or via the internet and must be accompanied by full payment. Access to the Club on these days is only available to Members with a valid QCC issued ticket and current Member card.
Members wishing to be seated as a group must submit bookings together to guarantee group seat allocation. Members are entitled to one guest ticket per member card, subject to Member demand. Members have priority over guests for ticket allocation, therefore guest tickets are limited and are allocated on a “first in - first issued” basis.
Booking online via this website is the most efficient, reliable and secure method of submitting your ticket request. Log-on to "My Club" to make your reservation.
Alternatively, booking forms can be found in the Keeping In Touch magazine, issued as early as possible in advance of the forthcoming season.
Members are strongly encouraged to return the completed form with payment as soon as possible upon receipt.
Booking forms may be submitted via the following methods:
By Mail:
Queensland Cricketers’ Club
Ground Floor Gabba Towers
411 Vulture Street
EAST BRISBANE QLD 4169
By Fax: (07) 3391 5415
In Person: Booking forms are also available from Club reception throughout the season.
All Prices listed are fully inclusive of GST, booking and service fees, and are issued as per Ticketmaster/Ticketek Terms and Conditions.
Confirmation and Payment Process:
Season Passes
Season Pass holders from the previous year are given the option of renewing the same number of seats for the new season. While we endeavour to retain a similar allocation, the QCC does not guarantee seat positions will remain the same from season to season.
Requests for new season passes are processed in order of receipt after existing season passes have been confirmed and allocated.
Season pass holders are given priority in seat allocation. Improved seat positioning is achieved over time. Requests for changes to seat position must be noted on, or accompany the booking request.
Once seat allocation is finalised all bookings will be confirmed either by telephone or by email. Where a member cannot be contacted, a full detailed message/email will be left and the booking is considered confirmed. Payments are processed only when a booking has been confirmed.
Daily Tickets
Daily ticket requests are processed in order of receipt after season seat allocation has been finalised. Daily tickets are confirmed in the same manner as season passes.
The QCC will endeavour to confirm daily ticket bookings a minimum of ten (10) working days prior to a game. No commitment is made to confirm ticket requests prior to this time.
Sold-Out Events & Wait-Lists
In the event that a match/game is sold out, all Members with waitlisted bookings will be notified immediately, and advised when, and if, a seat becomes available.
It is also the case that Members take priority over guests in this instance.
Refund and Cancellation Policies:
Changes or cancellations to a confirmed booking must to be submitted in writing, either by mail, fax or email and will incur a $5 administration cost payable immediately.
Cancellations will only be accepted up to five (5) working days prior to the booked event.
No refunds will be given when a confirmed booking is cancelled within the five (5) days.
In the event of disruption due to wet weather the Clubs’ ticket refund policy on reserved seats for cricket matches is consistent with the guidelines as set by the Queensland Cricket Association’s “Memorandum Ticketing and Pricing” and the Australian Cricket Board.
Collection of Passes / Tickets:
Season passes are generally available for collection approximately one week before the first game of the season and can be collected from the Club’s administration office, Ground Floor, Gabba Towers. In order to collect AFL tickets, membership fees for the new financial year must be paid in full prior to the first fixture. It is recommended Members call to arrange collection.
The collection of daily tickets is upon entry into the Club on the day/evening of the event. Members must present their member card to claim tickets.
Note: Individual membership cards and seat tickets are non-transferable
Game Day Dining is extremely popular and is regularly sold-out within weeks of bookings becoming available. Reservations are allocated in order of receipt of booking. To ensure the best chance of securing a reservation please make your dining request on your ticket booking form, or via the internet, and submit immediately ticket sales become available.
In order for your Club to run efficiently and profitably we are forced to put in place a Cancellation Policy for Dining Bookings.
Please Note: “Working days” are Monday to Friday, as we require notice to contact food suppliers, which is not always possible over a weekend or public holiday. ****
