Membership of the Queensland Cricketers' Club essentially falls into two (2) categories: Individual Membership Corporate Membership INDIVIDUAL MEMBERSHIP All individual Members have full voting rights. Individual Members receive a $500 Club Credit facility on their Member card. Club Credit is to be used for purchases when visiting the Club. Club Credit cannot be used for purchasing tickets to Special Events, Functions, Match Day Packages or Guests Tickets. Pre-payment by Credit Card, Cheque or Cash is required for these transactions. Overseas Membership can be granted to existing Members if, through their employ, they are transferred overseas for up to two years. The Club requires notice in writing requesting that: - Membership be transferred to the “Overseas Membership” category, at a nominal cost per year, for the stated period of time. The reason for the request and a suitably authorised letter substantiating a claim for Overseas Membership should be included. Family Membership Individual Members can choose to add members of their immediate family (i.e. spouse/partner and children) to their principal membership without paying an additional joining fee. A discounted schedule of fees applies to Family Memberships. Children under the age of 18 cannot become members of the Club. Only children aged 18 - 25 years may be linked to a Family Membership. Upon turning 26 years of age a Family Member can become a Principal Member in his or her own right without incurring a joining fee or being placed on the waitlist. Club Credit is available on the Principal Member's Card only to a limit of $500.00. With Family Memberships, the Principal Member is responsible for all charges on Club Credit. MEMBERSHIP FEES – INDIVIDUAL MEMBERS Membership fees are based on the following Local Council Areas. CITY: All persons who reside in the following Local Council Areas will be included under the Ordinary Members (City) Category: Pine Rivers Shire; Redcliffe City; Brisbane City; Redland Shire; Logan City; or Ipswich City COUNTRY: All persons whose Queensland residential address is not listed in the above areas, or persons residing interstate or overseas will be included in under the Country Member Category. Concessions: Concession based membership fees are available to Pension Card Holders (proof is required at the time of application) and any financial member of a district Cricket Club affiliated with the Queensland Cricket Association, including umpires, administrators and coaches, (a copy of your current membership fee receipt or a letter from the secretary/treasurer of your Club is required as proof of financial status). A significant concession is now also available to all ex Queensland State Representative Players. INDIVIDUAL FEES Joining Fee: - $220.00 City Member: - $470.00 City – Concession: - $235.00 City - QCA Concession - $250.00 City - State Cricketer: - $117.50 Country Member: - $250.00 Country – Concession: - $125.00 Country - State Cricketer: - $62.50 FAMILY MEMBER FEES No joining fee applicable. Family Member -City: - $125.00 Family Member – Country: - $125.00
CORPORATE MEMBERSHIP Corporate Membership has one fundamental difference to individual membership, that being the Corporate Membership Cards are transferable to other nominated company employees. Corporate Members do not have voting rights. The Corporate Membership account has a credit limit of $1500.00 but can be raised by prior arrangement. This credit limit is for each Corporate Account NOT per Corporate Card. The nominated Principal Card Holder is totally responsible for the distribution of Company Membership Cards, costs incurred on the main account, and the dress standards and behaviour of all employees and guests introduced into the Club. CORPORATE FEES Joining Fee: - $220.00 Principal Corporate Membership: - $580.00 Additional Corporate Cards: - $175.00 ea (maximum of 4 permitted)
PRO-RATA MEMBERSHIP FEES The Membership year commences on 1 April each year. After this date membership fees payable upon joining are calculated on a pro-rata basis calculated to 31st March each year.
