The Sir Donald Bradman Room is the a la carte restaurant of the Queensland Cricketers' Club. The Menu: With regular changes the Sir Donald Bradman Room menu is constantly freshed, reflecting the best seasonal produce and menu styles appropriate to the changing seasons. New Seasonal menu: The combined creative efforts of Executive Chef Bernard Sadler and Sous Chef Fraser Hill have been brought together to present a range of new dishes to supplement our core favourites, incorporating light and seasonal ingredients for the summer. Changes can be seen in all areas of the menu, including a completely new dessert range. Dishes include " Seared Sea Scallops, Celeriac Puree, Truffled Baby Herbs and Sauteed Oyster Mushrooms" as featured in Clubs Insight Magazine, "Roast Rack of Lamb, Leek and Pea Risotto Cakke with Preserved Lemon and Semi Dried Cherry Tomato Compote" and " Summer Berry Trifle, Vanilla Galliano Sponge, Fresh Chocolate and Yea Creme Fraiche". At certain times, throughout the year the Sir Donald Bradman Room is closed to accommodate large function bookings. Please call the Club for your reservation and to ensure the restaurant is open for Member use. Monthly Dinner Dances Dinner Dance nights are generally held in the Sir Donald Bradman Room on the last Friday of each month. Dinner Dance dates are published in each edition of your "Keeping In Touch" magazine. There is no fee for participating in a Dinner Dance evening, the full a la carte menu is available. |
